Jackyl - When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide

Jackyl When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide CD Cover

Rock Me, Roll Me, Jackyl Me Off! It The Southern rockers are back with some shit kickin' foot stompin' Rock n' Roll. This CD kicks off with the in your face track "Loads of Fun" and just keeps going. This track has a great guitar riff and Jessie belting it out with the "gang" vocals to boot. "She's Not a Drug" the bands first single and video from this release, while "My Moonshine Kicks Your Cocaine's Ass" has been available through their MySpace page for sometime, both of these tracks should be cranked up to blow your face off. As you scan the track titles you will notice the track "Just Like a Negro" and while some people might think there's some racist content behind it, they would be wrong. This track is actually a cover of the 70's band Mother's Finest.

I was expecting the song "When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide" to rock, but I was surprised to find out it was a little slower, but I will not call it a ballad. The guys also added "Deeper in Darkness" to this CD. This was one of the songs that was available only on their "Night of the Living Dead" CD. I will admit that I am not a fan of "Mercedes Benz". A track that should not have Jessie Dupree singing a-cappella. I would have much rather seen them rock this one out in Jackyl fashion. "Freight Train" adds a salute to the old Yardbirds turned Aerosmith classic "Train Kept A-Rollin", and rounding out the disc is "Full Throttle".

This one is right behind the bands debut as far as the best Jackyl CD's, so grab yourself a bucket of cold beers, or bottle of your favorite shine and crank this one up to eleven!
