The Rolling Stones Will Not Tour in 2012

Keith Richards revealed that the Rolling Stones will not be touring in 2012. Richards spoke to Rolling Stone and explained that 2013 will probably be the year for the band to hit the road, admitting: "Basically, we're just not ready, I have a feeling that's more realistic." An industry insider told the magazine that the reason for the delay is due in part to concerns over Richards lasting a prolonged road trek in light of his 2006 brain surgery, saying, "They don't want to do a full tour.

Shinedown Creates E-Book to Accompany New CD

Shinedown singer Brent Smith said on Wednesday (March 14th) that the release of the band's fourth album, Amaryllis, on March 27th will be accompanied by an e-book called For Your Sake: Inside The Making Of Amaryllis, which Smith described as the first of its kind in the music industry. Aerosmith Putting Finishing Touches on New CD

Aerosmith are putting the finishing touches on their first studio album in 8 years, and preparing to return to the road this summer, says guitarist Joe Perry.

“We’re in the middle of a bunch of stuff,” Perry tells the QMI Agency. “I’m out here [Hollywood] finishing up the Aerosmith record that we started last summer. Hopefully we’ll have it done in the next month or so.”

“And we’re definitely touring this summer. We’re gonna put tickets on sale in February or March and we’re going on the road in June. Everybody’s lined up. We’re ready.”
