What a week..I wish things would just settle down here in Phoenix. By settle down I mean ...Hell I don't know what I mean. I just love it out here..The new location is great.
Reading online today about how fans down under in Australia were disappointed in the Guns N Roses concert. In typical GNR fashion the band going on 2 hours late, and according to the report the band sounded terrible, and amps were cutting out for the first few songs. Some fans even claimed Axl wasn't even singing. I find that one hard to believe. The guy isn't the greatest singer as it is, so unless the vocals were incredible I would say he was really singing. I have mentioned this many times on the air, but why do fans keep buying tickets to see this band? I loved this band and would consider checking them out live, but I don't know if I could hang out and wait 2 hours. I do find it amazing that everyone respects Slash and what he has done over the years and having great success with his new CD, meanwhile everyone hates Axl. I wonder do people hate Axl for being Axl or is it because he uses the name Guns N Roses? I guess it could always be a combo of things. I just don't get why it's not in the promoters contract to get these idiots to go on in time to have some sort of clause about when they take the stage or they get fined or some deal. This band will continue to do shit like this until promoters and fans put their foot down. How about not buying a ticket? Or CD's? I think there is a reason GNR isn't touring in the states...I am pretty sure it's because the U.S. fans know the routine and won't put up with it. Trust me I am one who sat through the St. Louis Riot of 1991 at Riverport Ampitheater. People need to start holding this douchebag responsible for his actions.
Now that rant is over...A new streaming music play list will be launching on Monday after the live show. WE have added hundreds of songs to the play list and even left out the most of the music from the initial play list so that you don't hear repeats.
