What a great way to kick off the holiday season than an interview with Al Pitrelli from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Al called in on Wednesday (Nov 23) and talked about the latest TSO tour, and how things have grown over the years with the band. Not only that but just how lucky he is to be a part of something this big. He was a great interview. Thanks to Kenny for the hookup on that one. I will be checking out the show this Sunday in Phoenix and it has now part of my holiday tradition. I don't think I have many, but now I believe this is the fourth year in a row I will be catching the show and the first time since 2000 or 2001 seeing the West Coast tour. One of the best shows and always one to look forward to. For those of you that missed the interview I am editing the interview and you will hear it in its entirety in the next couple days.
I never got a chance to mention that I caught the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience last Saturday. This show was great. Jason is such a good dude, and was definitely channeling his dad that night. He has put together a great line up of musicians and I think they do a great tribute to not only John Bonham, but to Zeppelin.
The staff at MFNRocks.com wishes everyone a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Be careful in your travels and we will rock your world again on Monday at 9am Pacific.
